KiwiSDR Frequency Tuning
The KiwiSDR provides a number of ways to tune to your desired frequency. It also has controls for adjusting the waterfall to make analysis more convenient.
Tuning With the Mouse
Simply clicking on the Frequency Scale above the main waterfall or directly on the waterfall is the quickest way to tune the KiwiSDR to a frequency. When you do it will immediately tune to where it was clicked on. Clicking on a signal on the waterfall will tune to that signal. You may then need to set the mode to that of the signal.
Even more convenient is clicking on one of the bookmarks which will not only tune to the bookmark frequency but will set the parameters stored in the bookmark.
Direct Frequency Entry
Direct frequency entry can be accomplished by clicking on the frequency entry field and entering the desired frequency with the keyboard. This is the quickest way to exactly tune to a frequency.
The frequency is displayed and entered in kHz. So 10645.64 entered in the field would be 10.64564 MHz.

Frequency Tuning Controls
These are just below the top row on the Control Panel.
The series of ⊕ and ⊖ buttons in the middle will tune left or right. The larger the symbol, the larger the tuning step:
-5KHz -1KHz -100Hz +100Hz +1KHz +5KHz
Each click will tune the frequency by the tuning step up or down.
If you click on the little green box with the arrow just to the left of the tuning buttons, it will copy a URL to the computer clipboard that can be used to tune another KiwiSDR to the same signal that you are on.

Band Selections
The Band Selection dropdown menu is the center dropdown box at the top of the Control Panel labeled "select band". The full list of band and frequency selections is extremely long so to fit it on the page it was broken into 3 parts.
Waterfall Adjustment Buttons
You can use these buttons to zoom the waterfall view in or out. You can also pan the waterfall left or right to make fine tuning the receive frequency easier.
Scrolling the mouse wheel will also zoom the waterfall in or out.
