STEM Experimentation Lab Information
The Experimentation Bench of the STEM Lab has multiple SDRs with server applications to provide remote access.
OpenWebRX+ servers provide the access to the SDRs without requiring that any software be installed on client machines. It offers a huge range of analog and digital modes usable on the VHF/UHF bands.
What's There?
The equipment consists of:
- Stridesberg Engineering 4-output active VHF-UHF multi-coupler with a passband from 50MHz - 1GHz (for antenna sharing and front-end overload protection).
- RTL-SDR Blog v3 SDR
- RTL-SDR BLog v4 SDR
- FlightAware Pro Stick SDR
- BQ Consulting Station G2 Meshtastic Node
-
A Raspberry-Pi single-board computer for each SDR.
The OS is Debian 12 Bookworm.
Remote access to the SDRs is provided through an OpenWebRX+ server application.
ⓘ OpenWebRX+ Information and Operation
The PARC Meshtastic Node is identified as "PARC" and "W6NWG" on the Meshtastic network.
